Dear Shri Sanjeev,

Since Hon’ble Chief Minister Of Delhi, Smt. Sheila Dikshit has set up a two-tier structure consisting of the Apex Committee at the level of the Govt. Of NCT Of Delhi and Nine District Development Committees at the District Level intended to encourage de-centralization in decision making and provide a responsive & responsible administration by involving elected representatives of the respective areas, RWA’s, Deputy Commissioners and District Level Officers of other departments and civic bodies.

As your good self is the Convener of the District Development Committee, I wish to bring to your kind notice that the invitation of the last meeting held was not received by me at all because the name of the last West Zone Chairman is still continuing on your records. Therefore you are requested to instruct your secretariat to make amendments in the records and henceforth these invitations should be addressed to me.

Also, I have received a feed back that the last meeting did not have adequate attendance. Moreover, the meeting place as designated does not have enough space to accommodate the officers & Elected representatives and there is no working atmosphere which is so necessary for constructive & serious working of such committees. It is my personal opinion and you might agree with it that since Hon’ble Chief Minister’s  vision is to strengthen these District Development Committees for clean administration and for more transparency and accountability in their working, these meetings should be held at a more spacious premises for

which I offer the **Meeting Hall of MCD West Zone Office in Rajouri Garden as the venue of all such future meetings. The main advantage of this premises is that it is conveniently located and have more than enough space to accommodate all the participants.

If this suggestion is worth accepting, then please let me know so that all arrangements can be made accordingly. I assure you to extend my full co-operation at all times to make these meetings a success and this way we can help in realizing the dream of our Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit.
