Shri Haroon Yusuf, Minister (Transport & Power) very categorically observed that no negligence in maintenance of streetlights would be tolerated.

BSES officers agreed to attend to the problem of streetlights of Uttam Nagar & Janakpuri within a week.

Spl. Secy. (Power) informed that revised demand not had been issued by DDA on 24/8/2005 for land. He assured that the amount (i.e. 1.55 crore approx) would be deposited very soon and the use of the land would be given to the Discom as per govt. policy for setting up of grid.

Minister (Transport & Power) asked the Discom to take up the project on priority.

Minister (Transport & Power) was given by Shri Sanjay Puri a list of maintenance and augmentation work (list attached) that needed immediate attention.

Minster (Transport & Power) asked these works to be attended to on priority. BSES officers stated that they would attend to these works and complete them within a month.

Minister (Transport & Power) directed that these be attended to immediately. BSES officers present agreed to replace the dilapidated / coverless feeder boxes.

It was pointed out that this encroachment posed a hzard in the event of emergencies.

Minister (Transport & Power) asked BSES to approach the authorities concerned for necessary action.

Minister (Transport & Power) asked this to be attended to immediately and to report compliance within a week.

Representatives of RWAs and Councillor expressed their apprehension that the electronic meters were fast. Minister (Transport & Power) observed that a camp should be organized to test the meters and replace the fast meters.
