You are kind enough for giving me appointment 5th September, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. for discussion / solving the problem of my constituency i.e. Janak Puri related to BSES. I wish to inform you that after taking a round of Janak Puri and Uttam Nagar, I came across a lot of problems being faced by the people of my ward related to Electricity. The common problem being faced by the people is the erratic supply of electricity as demand is not met by supply. The other problem is the low voltage due to which, the household electrical appliances are difficult to run.

In this regard, I am listing below few observations / suggestions for your kind perusal, which have been reached upon after consulting DVB officials and Private Electricity Engineers which can help in improving the existing system of Electricity Supply in my ward.

For your information, my ward 17 is divided into two parts viz Janak Puri and Uttam Nagar. The following steps needs to be taken in Janak Puri areas for the upgradation of Electricity Service being provided at present :

1. Augumentation of Existing 3 x150mm2 PILCA Cable to 3x300 XLPE Cable between Telecom Indoor to A-1 Mother Dairy.

2. Augumentation of Existing 3x150mm2 PILCA Cable to 3x300 XLPE Cable between A-1 Mother Dairy Indoor to A-2 140 Plm.

3. Augumentation of Existing 3x150mm2 PILCA Cable to 3x300 CLPE Cable between A-2 140 Plm. To A-5 Asalat Pur

4. Augumentation of Existing 3x150mm2 PILCA Cable to 3x300 XLPE Cable between Narang Colony Indoor to Narang Colony P/M

5. Augumentation of Existing 3x150mm2 PILCA Cable to 3x300 XLPE Cable between Narang Colony P/M to A-2A to Kiosk Nale Wala

6. Augumentation of 630 KVA to 990 KVA Transformer at A4 Asalatpur Carwala S/Stn.

7. Augumentation of Existing 3x150mm2 PILCA Cable to 3x300 XLPE Cable between A3 I/D JKP to P/M Chander Nagar, JKP

8. Augumentation of Existing 3x150mm2 PILCA Cable to 3x300 XLPE Cable between Chander Nagar Pole Mounting to Telecom Colony

31. Replacement of Brunt/Demaged Service Pillar at A2 Block, JKP

32. Replacement of Brunt/Demanged Service Pillar at A2A Block, JKP

33. Replacement of Brunt/Demaged Service Pillar at P & T Colony JKP

34. Replacement of Brunt/Demaged Service Pillar at A5-B, JKP

The following steps needs to be taken in Uttam Nagar areas for the upgradation of Electricity Services being provided at present :

1. Proposed new 4 Pannel Board at South Ext. Tikona Park, Uttam Nagar - Z-1502

2. Installation of new RMU at R & S Block, Chanakya Place PI/M Z-1502

3. Instasllation of new RMU at IJK Block PI/M Z-1502

4. Installation of new RMU at Tikona Park South Extn. PI/M Z-1502

5. Installation of new RMU at A&B Block Chanakaya Place P/M Z-1502

6. Installation of new RMU at Ram Dutt Enclave (Mother Dairy) Z-1502

7. Replacement of 7 Panel Board at Milap Nagar Z-1502 (D) VKP

8. Replacement of 5 Panel Board at Chanakya Place No. 1 Z-1502(D) VKP

9. Replacement of RMU at Clanakya Place No. II Z-1502 (D) VKP

10. Replacement of 4 Panel Board at Chanakya Place No. IV Z-1502 (D) VKP

11. Installation of 7 Panel Board Tikona Park South Extn. Kiosk

12. Replacement of 5 Panel Board to 7 Panel Board at Chanakya Place No. I I/D S/Stn.

13. Replacement of 5 Panel Board to 7 Panel Board at Mohindra Park I/D S/Stn.

14. Augumentation of 11 KV cable from 3x150 to 3x300 between Milap Nagar, and J.J. Colony S/Stn.

15. Laying of 3x150mm2 11 KV cable for portion that comes under drain from Jeewan Park to Indra Park S/Stn.

16. Provision HT feed to proposed 400 KVA S/Stn. Jeewan Park.

17. Replacement of 3x300 CLPE to 300 XLPE from Distt. Centre to Milap Nagar

18. Laying of 11KV 3x300 CLPE cable from inter connector from Chanakya Place No. 1 to Mohindra Park I/D S/Stn.

By virtue of this letter, you are requested to kindly instruct CEO - BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. to take necessary action in this regard in order to provide better electricity supply to the people of my ward.
