AGENDA FOR THE MEETING AT 76, NARANG COLONY, JANAK PURI BEFORE ROUND/INSPECTION ALONGWITH DDA OFFICERS
ON THE 5TH AUGUST, 2005

1.      Review the progress of decisions taken in the 21st March 2005 visit.

2.      A walking path is being constructed in the Narang Colony Dist. Park by DDA only in half portion of this park whereas it should be constructed in the whole park otherwise it will not serve the purpose for which, it is being constructed.

3.      Provision of Jaal Type Grill around DDA Park facing Sanatan Dharam Mandir and House No. 60 onwards facing park at C1 Block, Janak Puri (Letter dated 10th May, 2005 vide D.O. No. Mem/STC/05/169/2005 addressed to Chief Engineer - V.

4.      Raising of boundary wall of DDA Park adjacent to A2A Block, Janak Puri (Letter dated 20th June, 2005 vide D.O. No. Mem/STC/06/146/2005 addressed to Chief Engineer - V.

5.      Provision of Lights in DDA Park facing Sanatan Dharam Mandir and House No. 60 onwards facing park at C1 Block, Janak Puri.

Minutes of the Meeting

A meeting was held at the office of Mr. Sanjay Puri, Councillor - Janakpuri between him and various official of DDA. Following were the DDA officials present.

1. Mr. R.K. Sood - CE/SWZ

2. Mr. Y.P. Singh - Dir/Horti.

3. Mrs. Kalpana Khurana - DD/LS

4. DD/Horticulture

Following were the issues discussed.

(A) District Park Block - A, (Narang Colony), Janak Puri
1.	Concern was expressed on the general upkeep of the park as far as civil and Horticulture aspect is concerned it is assured that general maintenance and construction of paths, shelters, and plantation whould be done.	Action : SE/CC5/Dir./Hort/
2.	The existing shelters wer asked to be replaced by the ones recently constructed at Vasant Vatika. And the paths to completed in interlocking tiles.	Action : SE/CC5
3.	A feasibility of a Multigym is to be seen within the district park.	Action : D/LS
4.	Provisions and execution of lighting through out the park is to be addressed.	Action : D/LS, CE/SWZ & Electrical Wing
5.	Benches in appropriate places have to be provided in the park.	Action : SE/CC5
District Park with Musicial Fountain, Janak Puri.
1.	A proposal of toilet on BOT basis is to be prepared to be put up before EAG.	Action:D/LS
2.	Roof of existing rain shelters to be repaired as/discussion.	Action : SE/CC5
3.	As there are certain paths which are not 2.5 M wide, they need to be extended on both sides by 0'-9" wide strip to made the path 2.5 M wide.
4.	Parking area to be worked out and constructed with interlocking paves and provision of bollards be made so as restrict two wheeler from entering the park.	Action SE/CC5
5.	An entrance board at the two gates to be designed and executed.	Action : D/LS, SE/CC5
6.	General upkeep of civil and Horticulture aspect to be improved.
Green Belt at A Block along Dholi Piao Road, Janak Puri.
1.	The Landscape Plan to be and presented before screening Committee.	Action : D/LS
2.	A skating rink to be accommodated in the area of possible.	Action : D/LS
3.	The boundary wall is to be repaired.	Action : CE/SWZ
Swimming Pool in Green Area
	The area to be earmarked on plan and forward to D/Sports for further action on development of BOT basis Swimming Pool.

	The above minutes are being issued in accordance to approval from CE/SWZ.
