MINUTE
OF THE MEETING HELD WITH SHRI SANJAY PURI, MUNICIPAL
COUNCILLOR (WARD 17/JANAK PRI) 20TH SEPT., 05 AT 11.30

The minutes of the meeting held with Commissioner
on 7th July. 05 were reviewed.
-
For the preventive measures of leptospiorosis and
dengue, exhibition on leptospiorosis and dengue in
various blocks of Janak Puri and Uttam Nagar Group
of Colonies, launching of SW Drain Cleanliness Drive,
removal of garbage and malba drive specially from
back lanes of various blocks of Janak Puri and Uttam
Nagar Group of Colonies were desired by the area Mpl.
Councillor. SE/WZ, DHO, EE(CSE) were requested to
take action in this regard.

On the issue of pruning of trees in various blocks
of Ward No. 17, the ADH was asked to ensure the same.
- It
was pointed out by the Mpl. Councillor that the problem
of stray cattle is increasing day by day in the area
of Uttam nagar and Janak Puri and requested for the
regular raids for a period of one month to remove
the stray cattle. ZVO was instructed to fix the programme
of raids for atleast one month regularly for the removal
of stray cattle from the said areas.
- The
point of fancy lights and high mast lights was also
discussed. EE (Elect.) was given instructions for
the improvement of those fancy lights and high mast
lights installed in various parks of Janak Puri which
are not in working condition.
- The
issue came for the removal of kabaries from the 25ft.
and 40 ft. roads of Chanakya Place and AO was asked
to fix the encroachment removal action for their removal.
- AO
was also instructed to take action against the encroachment
at A.S. Road, Uttam Nagar Bus stand and Milap Nagar.
- It
wa told by the ADH that to stop the booking in A-2,
C-2 and A-3 Janakpuri Parks for marriage/functions,
te file was sent to Addl. Cm. (Engg.) through Dy.
Commissioner which came back through Dir. (Hort.)
with the remarks to check again. Now, the file is
being sent again.
- The
date of inauguration of Recreation Centre at A-1 Block,
Janak Puri has been fixed for 2.10.05.
- The
RWA requested for the erection of grill in the park
of A-5B Block Janak Puri. Action is to be taken by
the SE/WZ.
- It
was further requested that malba removal programme
be fixed in A-1 Block, Janak Puri specially from the
back lanes and also requested for general patch repair
in various group of colonies of Uttam Nagar for which
instructions were given.
