MALARIA EXHIBITION IN WARD 17
An anti
malaria exhibition was organised in ward 17 i.e. Janak
Puri on 13 June, 2002 which was inaugurated by Principal
Health Secretary Govt. of NCT of Delhi along with participation
by MHO MCD, DHO MCD West Zone, a number of Municipal
Councillors and various representatives of RWAs of ward
17.

An interactive
session was organised on 4th August, 2002 in which DCP
West and DC West participated along with a large number
of representatives of RWAs of Janak Puri

DRIVE IN C-1 BLOCK JANAK PURI
A plantation
drive was organised on 10th August, 2002 in C-1 Block
Janak Puri. On this occasion Director General Horticulture,
MCD and D.C. West Zone along with a large number of
residents of C-1 Block Janak Puri were present.

TAX CAMP IN ARYA SAMAJ MANDIR A1 BLOCK JANAK PURI
A House
Tax camp was organised on 11 August, 2002 in Arya Samaj
Mandir A-1 Block, Janak Puri in which a large number
of residents of Janak Puri participated and deposited
their house tax through cheques.

TAX CAMP AND SERVANT VERIFICATION CAMP IN JANAK PURI
A House
Tax camp cum Servant Verification camp was organised
in C-2 B Block Community Hall, Janak Puri on 30th September,
2002 in which more than 244 individuals deposited their
house tax through cheques and more than 50 domestic
servant verfications were done.

PLANTATION
DRIVE IN A-2 AND C-2 BLOCKS JANAK PURI
A plantation drive was
organised on 14th October, 2002 in A-2 and C-3 Blocks
Janak Puri. On this occasion Hon’ble Mayor of Delhi
was the Chief Guest.

SAUBHAGYAWATI
MELA ORGANISED IN JANAK PURI FOR THE FIRST TIME IN DELHI
On 23
October, 2002 A Saubhagyawati Mela dedicated to the
women folk of Janak Puri was organised on the occasion
of Karva Chauth in which more then 600 women got free
mehndi applied on their palms. Punjabi Pop Super Star
Mika enthralled the audience with his live performance
on this occasion.

INTERACTIVE
SESSION ON UNIT AREA METHOD OF HOUSE TAX ORGANISED IN
JANAK PURI
An interactive
session on unit area method of house tax was organised
in Janak Puri, on 25th November, 2002 in which the Chairman
of the Standing Committee of MCD alongwith Secretary
- High Power Committee on unit area method of house
tax (MCD) participated alongwith a large number of representatives
of RWAs of Janak Puri.

OF WATER FALL AND NAMING CEREMONY OF PARK OPP. HOUSE
NO. A-2/39 IN A-2 BLOCK JANAK PURI BY HON’BLE MAYOR
OF DELHI
A water
fall constructed by horticulture department of MCD in
A-2 Block Park Opp. House no. A-2/39 in Janak Puri was
inaugurated on 17th March, 2003 by Hon’ble Mayor of
Delhi who also inaugurated the commemorative stone laid
to name this same park as Shri Ram Vatika.
