REHABILITAION OF NGO BY ALLOTMENT OF LAND IN BASTI VIKAS KENDRA, DWARKA

In my ward 17 i.e. Janak Puri an NGO by the name of Prerna Niketan Sangh is operating and this NGO is dedicated to the service, care and rehabilitation of Physically Challanged street children. This organisation was operating from a temporary accommodation of a temple in my ward 17 which gave them a last minute ultimatum to vacate this premises, as a result of which all these Physically Challanged children were on the verge of coming on road. After this NGO got in touch with me and narrated their problem to me, I got in touch with J.J. and slum department of MCD and as a result of my efforts and persuations, this department alloted a new premises to this NGO in Basti Vikas Kendra, Dwarka within a time bound period of 2 months. It was the begining of a new precedent as never before any NGO was allotted premises within such a short span of time. I also made a humble contribution of Rs. 11,000/- to this NGO keeping in view the noble cause that they are doing.
