Selected as Member Organising Committee for International Workshop on Waste Water Management-Decentralized Technologies For Effective Management

I was the only Municipal Councillor, out of 134, who was selected as member - organising Committee for International Workshop on Waste Water Management-Decentralized Technologies For Effective Management, by Shri Rakesh Mehta, IAS - Commissioner MCD and this seminar was held on 9th and 10th January, 2003. During the course of first meeting held on 7th October, 2002 on the above mentioned subject, the suggestions/observations put forward by me in the form of a written note was highly appreciated by the organising committee which consisted of the Commissioner MCD as the Chairperson and Convenor and its members consisted of Director - CSE, Joint Director - CSE, CEO Delhi Jal Board, Vice-President and Asst. Vice-Presidents from IDFC, Chairman CPCB, Secretary Environment Department Govt. of NCT of Delhi amongst others.
